Came here for a work dinner and this place blew me away. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through the food and drink menu. He took my request for a glass of white wine somewhere between dry and sweet and his choice was a delicious riesling. He did this for a few of the other people I was dining with and everyone loved his choice. Having built our trust we decided to also let him choose our charcuterie board. He picked a nice blend of goat cheese and cheddar along with prosciutto and salami. The presentation was great and came with a mix of toasted baguettes, pickles, pickled raddish and honey. The menu changes frequently so I won't go any further into entrees but the food was phenomenal. We ended the night with the apple wasabi sorbet and hot chocolate cake with housemade marshmallows. Wonderful dining experience. Would recommend to anyone visiting town and looking for a unique restaurant!

Holy sh*t. It would take me the length of the book of Genesis to properly describe the transcendent experience I had while dining - no: truly living - at Reserve. I've had some crazy meals in Grand Rapids, but this establishment has to take the cake. Their menu seems to rotate pretty frequently so I won't delve too deep into the specifics of my three course meal, but let me tell you that it blew me away. Flavors, textures and aromas so complex, so perfectly balanced, SO delicious that my eyes were rolling in the back of my head with every bite. Everything is sourced as locally and as sustainably as possible, and by god it comes through in the dishes that, frankly, belong in a museum. A proper meal combined with a proper friend at Reserve is sure to cure ANY blight you may have come upon (except financial hardship, this place is not cheap). Treat yourself and/or others to this exquisite experience if you are able and willing.

Ok this is a top restaurant. Reserve came highly recommended to us and it lived up to the hype. We came for dinner in December. Vibe: cool, sophisticated Food: unique, delicious, lot's of great options for a date night/special occasion or for just a fun night out. We had oysters which I was surprised were better than some of the oysters we typically get on the East Coast. Seafood pasta and a steak were also excellent. Good portions to try a few different items, which we love to do. Service: perfect. So kind and attentive. We felt so welcome here. I can't wait to come back!

Came her on a girlfriends weekend after reading a blog about how amazing this place was... I'm not going to lie, upon arrival I was a little disappointed that seating was closed on the second floor, the first floor seemed a bit basic, simple vibes. Long story short, we viewed the menu and were hesitant to order dinner so we considered just appetizers and drinks. But one thing led to another...after sampling some recommended wines by our waiter (who was on point by the way), he suggested trying their oysters, so we did, and omg, delicious! Then he suggested some cheeses and meats, again, wow! Entree suggestion as well, on point! And finally dessert! We had the best experience and everything was delicious! I've already shared my experience with many friends and family and they've got this place bookmarked to visit!

Very impressed by this place!! I will definitely be coming back here for amazing farm-to-table food and over 900+ wines to choose from! Made a reservation for the patio and enjoyed the French 75 which was made with gin, citrus and sparkling wine which was refreshing on such a nice summer day. My next drink was the Buick Riviera which was delicious as well. For an appetizer, we tried the Squash Blossoms which was whipped ricotta, pepitas, lavender honey, fennel pollen, white balsamic, and perfectly toasted toast! Absolutely enjoyed all these flavors in my mouth! My main meal was the market fish, which I unfortunately forgot what kind of fish.. but it was cooked to perfection with some well seasoned greens. The entire entree plate was almost a form of art to me. It was too pretty to not take several photos of. Unfortunately, we were too full to try any dessert which is what I'm going to try for next time I make it out here. The inside and outside of this place looked very fancy and nice! The service was extremely on point and very professional and knowledgeable. Our server was absolutely amazing and seemed to have a great knowledge of everything on their menu and sold me on almost everything she brought up. The price was worth it to me. 10/10 would come back and enjoy something new next time.

We only stopped here for drinks. They were totally full (on a Tuesday) and the wait was over an hour. Even though it was 95° out, we sat on the patio because it was immediate seating. Our server was mostly polite, and our drinks came out quickly. Ill go back, but with a reservation.

If you're a wine connoisseur, Reserve is your spot. Located in downtown Grand Rapids right next to the Amway Grand Hotel, it's a wine lover's dream. My family made a reservation for their second floor outdoor terrace as part of my dad's 65th birthday wine crawl. It was the best stop by far. Here's why: 1) Menu: Of course, it's full of wine- bottles, glasses, white, red, rose, international, they have every kind of wine. The staff are knowledgeable on the menu and can recommend one to meet your standards. I ordered a crisp riesling and didn't regret it. The menu also includes food. Our cheese board, stone fruit salad, and squash blossoms were delicious and well portioned. 2) Service: It was very attentive and engaged. In our two-hour visit, we had several staff members help us. Each was friendly. 3) Space: It's beautiful. For our group of nine, we had the second floor outdoor terrace to ourselves on a Saturday at 4:30pm. It was a peaceful setting. 4) Prices: Compared to other Grand Rapids spots, the prices are steep, but if you're coming from a major American city, the prices won't shock you. I highly recommend the Reserve!
